Lithalethemba (a Xhosa word meaning “a ray of hope”) is a black economic empowerment company, which is fully owned by a woman to make a difference in the tourism and services industry. The owner is driven by a philosophy of service passion, quality, efficiency and the highest standards of professionalism.
Lithalethemba (also known as Litha) was born in 2003 out of a need to address the industry needs whilst also dealing with the legacy of deprivation and development of black people and particularly women.
Litha‘s focus areas are conference and events management as well as related service requirements. It is Litha’s believe that the success of our economy is dependent on, amongst others, well run and planned business events and congresses. Tied to this, is Litha’s wealth of experience in the travel and tourism industry which enables it to combine the events management aspect with related facilitative services, like travel management.
